NOTE: There are two options for paying the registration fee. If paying via PayPal I am unable to alter its setting to be in US dollars so it shows as $20 USD which with conversion and costs is about the same.
My preference is for riders to pay via the banking details direct into our bank, thanks.

Please click here and read the base rules and FAQ's that apply to ALL FarRides.

I have been asked where the name came from, FarRide. I watched a movie recently called Hidalgo.
Quote from online: The Ocean of Fire -- a 3,000 mile survival race across the Arabian desert--was a challenge restricted to the finest Arabian horses ever bred, the purest and noblest lines, owned by the greatest royal families. In 1890, a wealthy sheik invited an American, Frank T. Hopkins, and his horse to enter the race for the first time.

Frank was called "Far Rider" in that movie and I liked the term when related to endurance riding.
